Flat Tire Repair

Getting a flat tire really slows you down. That’s why the highly trained technicians at Jiffy Lube® are knowledgeable about Flat Tire Repair. They can address where the leak or hole is, patch it up and get you back on the road quickly before it can become an even bigger drag.

Patches, Plugs and Valves

Whether it’s slowly leaking air or your dashboard tire pressure light has come on, bring your vehicle into a local Jiffy Lube® to have a Jiffy Lube technician take a look at it. It might just be a faulty tire valve stem that needs replacing, or perhaps your tire needs a patch or plug; either way, driving on an underinflated tire can damage it beyond repair and lead to a loss in handling and fuel economy. Driving on a completely flat tire can cause wheel damage, which can cost you more in the long run, so mount the spare or get roadside assistance.

It’s Not Just a Repair. It’s Complete Service.

Jiffy Lube® technicians are experienced with Tire Repair. First, they determine whether the tire is repairable, inspecting for wear, potential structural damage to the tire and previous repairs. To fix it, a patch or plug is put into place, completely sealing the tire to industry standards. After the patch or plug has set, they inflate the tire to your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations, which can also be found on the driver’s side doorjamb. They then balance the wheel and tire to distribute weight evenly on the wheel for a smoother ride and then mount the tire back onto your vehicle.
